"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Talk is cheap, let's get it on."

Pockets is a one of D-Mob's henchmen and a playable character in Def Jam Vendetta, Def Jam Fight for NY and Def Jam Fight for NY: The Takeover.

Pockets' family moved from Lebanon when he was six years old, but his parents' marital difficulties soon left him an orphan. His dad skipped town, and his mom overdosed in her attempts to deal with her depression. Left to fend for himself on the streets, Pockets made ends meet by stealing and picking people's pockets (hence his nickname). Brought into D-Mob's syndicate for his scheming nature, he's the brains of the operation, advising on all business dealings. His small size isn't ideal for fighting large opponents, but he uses his speed and guile to survive in a scrap.

Def Jam Vendetta[]

Pockets is frequently seen with D-Mob along with House and Snowman. He participated in a handicap match against the player in The Face Club (Afterhours) and is seen retreating after the match.

Def Jam Fight For NY[]

Pockets doesn't hang with D-Mob's Crew much now like in Vendetta, but he is still ready to help, such as when Hero was forced to fight for Crow's Crew. He can usually be found at the Babylon nightclub, in Flatbush, which he was trying to protect from a then seemingly rogue Hero.

Def Jam Vendetta

  • "Yeah, Yeah, Whatever. Talk is cheap, let's get it on."
  • "Pleasure doing business with you. Come back anytime." - Victory Outro
  • "Hehe, D-Mob sent us instead." - To the protagonist before the Handicap Match

Def Jam Fight For NY

  • "I'm gonna take your life and yo money!"
  • "I told you that was coming. Didn't I? Didn't I?!" - Victory Outro

  • Pockets' victory quote in Def Jam Vendetta is similar to Jacob's victory quote in Def Jam Fight for NY.
  • Pockets is one of the few characters to return in Fight for NY with one of their previous blazing moves from Vendetta. The others are D-Mob, Dan G, Joe Budden, Capone, Redman, Manny, House and Snowman.
  • Pockets' face in Fight for NY bears a strong resemblance to Tupac Shakur
  • Pockets' victory quote in Def Jam Fight for NY may be a reference to the idiom 'your money or your life'.
