"Liris: "Excuse me, but you look SO familiar. I promise I'm not giving you a line, but I know I know you."
Playa: "I'll tell you what, why don't you take my number and give me a call when you figure it out."
Liris: "I'll most definitely do that.

Liris Crosse is a featured character and potential girlfriend in Def Jam Icon.

Liris grew up in Baltimore and made her own modeling career after deciding the best way to represent herself was by herself. Soon, other magazines caught on, and she was sought out by Glamour, Seventeen, YM, and Girl. She appeared in a number of top music videos for artists such as Jay-Z, Puff Daddy, Jennifer Lopez, and Luscious Jackson. She has since added television and film to her resume, with appearances on MTV Jams, BET’s 106 & Park, and films such as Spike Lee’s Inside Man and John Singleton’s Baby Boy.

In Build A Label mode, She is seen talking to Wink in the opening scene at The Club. After Big Herc punches Wink, she tried to break free from his grip, but accidently causes Big Herc to spill drink on Playa's shirt. Playa can catch her attention at style point level 20,000. After a fight is over at the Club, she approaches you. The player can choose to date her or not, as with all the other girls the player meets, depending on his response to the first inbox that the player gets from the girl.

  • A video, that featured Liris Crosse recording lines for the game, suggests that female fighters were originally planned for the game, but were scrapped for unknown reasons. The video can be seen here.
