"My man makes it happen by any means neccesary!"
—Curtis Carver

Curtis Carver is a supporting character and also Troy Dollar's main label rival in Def Jam: Icon.

Biography[]

Curtis Carver got his start working for legendary hip hop mogul Rush, who gave the young entrepreneur his first break in the biz. After an impressive string of platinum selling albums, Carver was made a key player among Rush’s executive staff, eventually assuming the role of CEO when the Icon mysteriously disappeared. Now, Carver runs the label with the same wisdom and guidance of his predecessor, passing on the same types of opportunities to others that he benefited from himself. He sees potential in you, and invites you into his Inner Circle at the beginning of the game, acting as your mentor. He’s cool and confident, wise but with a youthful perspective. He has strong political theories, some of which might be considered “paranoid” or “conspiratorial” by those who aren’t aware of the facts he’s privy to. He watches out for you like a father or older brother, always imparting sage knowledge.
